I am thrilled to share that our paper titled “Noise Modulation over Wireless Energy Transfer: JEIH-NoiseMod” has been accepted for publication in the prestigious IEEE Wireless Communications Letters!
In this work, we present an innovative joint energy harvesting (EH) and communication scheme for future Internet-of-Things (hashtag#IoT) devices by leveraging the emerging noise modulation (Noise-Mod) technique. Information is embedded into the mean of real Gaussian noise samples to enable simultaneous wireless energy and information transfer. We propose a mean-based detector and derive the bit error probability (BEP) under Rician fading. We demonstrate that the proposed scheme offers superior EH performance compared to conventional modulations while maintaining reliable communication.
I would like to express my deepest gratitude to my supervisor, Prof. Ertugrul Basar, for his invaluable guidance and support throughout this research. I also sincerely thank my co-authors Yusuf İslam Tek, Ertuğ Pıhtılı, and Dr. Mehmet Cagri Ilter for their collaboration and expertise, which made this study possible.
